History
Bharathiyar college of Education was established in the year 2005. It is run by the Sri Sakthi Educational Trust. This esteemed B.Ed College is now affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University Chennai, with the strength of 200 students.
The main intention of starting this college of education was to provide quality teacher education to the aspiring graduates, to serve the society through teaching. Our college intends to encourage and fulfill the needs of student by providing latest educational techniques for standard education.
The College is located at Deviyakurichi, sprawling over a vast land. The teacher training programme is designed to develop overall personality of the students.
Our Emblem And Motto
The emblem of the college consists of a circle with four symbols. These Symbols are a Lotus, a violin, a Lamp and portrait of Bharathiyar.
On the top, there is portrait of Bharathiyar signifies our name of the college who was the famous National Poet and Great enthusiastic person.
On the bottom there is a figure of Lotus represents the symbol which stands for purity and prosperity. On the right there is lamp exhibits to a lamp can light another lamp like Teachers can translate their knowledge to student teachers who is the future of India.
On the left there is a figure of violin reflects our tradition and culture. Beneath the circle, there are three words which identified our motto of our college. The first word is Discipline; the Second is Education and third is Progress.
