Education is a powerful weapon for social change. Education is the special manifestation of man. In this modern digital world, we should update our knowledge to meet the educational challenges. The Great Educationist Dr.Rabindranath Tagore said, “A teacher can never truly teach unless he is still learning himself. A lamp can never light another lamp unless it continues to burn its own flame. The teacher who has come to end of his subjects, who has no living traffic with his knowledge but merely repeats his lesson to his students, can only have their minds, he cannot quicken them”. So it is the duty of the teachers to seek the truth and knowledge for their upliftment of innovative ideas. Teaching Profession is the noblest of all profession. Teaching institutes create more number of qualified teachers to serve society at large. Knowledge flows from teachers to students and new ideas are created. According to Kidwell, “knowledge which covers only raw data or facts or numbers, based on these facts information is generated. The information generated is captured in various documents and databases and made it available to use which gets searched by researchers using information technology systems, and information retrieval systems”.
The destiny of India is being shaped in the classroom.
Thus the teachers are the builders of nation.
“If a teacher where to enjoy teaching
Students would enjoy learning”
“If a teacher where to endure teaching
Students too would endure learning”
